Today is my first day of starting blogging and i will try my best to express my feeling and experience till now. I was born in 1989 in a lower middle family and i am handicap by birth. As my mother use to say that before my birth my great grandfather has predicted that the child is going to born handicap. My birth place is Bihar where any parent after hearing that their baby will be going to be handicap starts fighting that its your mistake and blame each other. But in my case it was different just because my father was a government employee and i was the only son child. So after my birth my parents want to start my treatment. For the first time i was taken to vellore CMC and my treatment started. At that time i was just 2 year old and i am saying all these only because my mother has told me all these things . After treating me for six months the doctor called my father and said lets cut down his both lower limbs up to knee and when he will become 12-13 year old just get him artificial limbs and he will be able to walk. After hearing doctors words my mother started weeping and my father also. My father said the doctor no let him as he is and later i will see what i can do. In CMC my both legs were operated twice and for that my father has given me 2 units of blood. After treatment in CMC my parents took me back and started their normal life. When i became 5 year old my father was worried about my education as i use to crawl on my hips. During that days my father get problem of appendicitis so he was taken to a hospital for operation. My father's operation was successful and the government ambulance was going to took him back so i also eagerly said my mother that i will also come with you to receive him and my mother agreed. When i was in the hospital ward with my family a doctor came for routine checkup and release my father he saw me and told my father that a doctor is here from other hospital and if he will treat your son then he will be able to walk. As the doctor said a ray of hope was ignited in my parents and they agreed for the treatment. Once again i was operated but this time only in one leg and that operation was just an experiment and to increase the bills of the hospital. After that my parents were very unhappy not because the operation was failed because i was operated for nothing. We came back and life started running as usually. One day while watching news on TV my father came across a news of a doctor of bones who was treating the patients of polio . After hearing that news my father rush to our doctor to discuss this with him and after discussing my father started planning to meet the doctor. The doctor was in TAMILNADU and we in Bihar and those days in 1994 there was no such communication facility as today. So getting appointment was very difficult and even more difficult was to get name and address of the doctor and hospital. Thinking all these things my father become sad as i was getting older and older but not getting education proportional to that. My fathers colleagues children's went to school but i was in home and only playing so my father decided to talk to the bus driver and the conductor. He said them if they will took me to the school and bring me back then he will pay them for that but they said it will be very difficult for them and they refused to do so . My father become sad but fortunately one person from TAMILNADU joined the company as a colleague of my father. One day my father called him to our home and discussed the matter with him and asked him to help in order to get the doctors name and the hospitals address. He said OK when i will be going to my house i will try to find out every thing as soon as possible .Finally he find out the doctors name Dr. R Gopal Krishnan and he was treating in APOLLO CHENNAI. Here my journey started😇😇😇😇😇😇😇
